# Magic Potion vs Sheep Out

The clearest difference is ads: Sheep Out at none against Magic Potion's shown. Sheep Out also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Potion sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sheep Out sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magic Potion ships an update every 2 months, Sheep Out fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
