# Safe vs CYBEX

Safe and CYBEX both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Safe's written reviews are positive against 13% of CYBEX's. Safe also leads on iOS requirement (13.6 vs 15.6). CYBEX's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 7). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Safe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. CYBEX asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Safe against 4.5 for CYBEX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CYBEX has 1.3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Safe's written reviews are positive against 13% of CYBEX's.

Safe ships an update every 2 weeks, CYBEX every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
