# SD vs V

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SD at none against V's 3. SD also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). V's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. V sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. SD asks for nothing beyond the download.

SD ships an update every 2 months, V weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
