# Star Babies vs BabySteps

The clearest difference is update cadence: BabySteps at every 2 days against Star Babies's every 5 months. BabySteps also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Star Babies sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and BabySteps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Star Babies ships an update every 5 months, BabySteps every 2 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
