# Reimagine vs DiffPic

The clearest difference is update cadence: Reimagine at fortnightly against DiffPic's every 6 months. Reimagine also leads on ratings volume (405 vs 1). DiffPic's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reimagine sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and DiffPic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DiffPic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reimagine has 405 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Reimagine ships an update fortnightly, DiffPic every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
