# AdKiller vs DeepSeek

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DeepSeek at 52% against AdKiller's 14%. DeepSeek also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (12K vs 11). AdKiller's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AdKiller sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. DeepSeek asks for nothing beyond the download.

AdKiller holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DeepSeek has 12K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of AdKiller's written reviews are positive against 52% of DeepSeek's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AdKiller ships an update every 2 days, DeepSeek every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
