# VisionWorks vs Yellowdig

The clearest difference is rating: VisionWorks at 5.0 against Yellowdig's 2.6. VisionWorks also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Yellowdig's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (30 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VisionWorks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yellowdig has 30 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VisionWorks ships an update every 21 months, Yellowdig every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
