# Upper vs NOVA GO

The clearest difference is update cadence: NOVA GO at every 3 days against Upper's weekly. Upper's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Upper ships an update weekly, NOVA GO every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
