# Guard vs sichta

The clearest difference is update cadence: sichta at every 2 months against Guard's every 5 months. sichta also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Guard ships an update every 5 months, sichta every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
