# PresiTimer vs Lily pad

The clearest difference is rating: PresiTimer at 4.3 against Lily pad's 3.7. Lily pad's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PresiTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Lily pad asks for nothing beyond the download.

PresiTimer holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of PresiTimer's written reviews are positive against 50% of Lily pad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PresiTimer ships an update every 2 months, Lily pad every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
