# Kegel Counter vs Focus Shift

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Shift at weekly against Kegel Counter's fortnightly. Kegel Counter's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kegel Counter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Focus Shift sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kegel Counter ships an update fortnightly, Focus Shift weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
