# Sparrow Capture vs Snap Pocket

The clearest difference is update cadence: Snap Pocket at every 2 weeks against Sparrow Capture's every 5 weeks. Snap Pocket also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sparrow Capture sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Snap Pocket sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sparrow Capture ships an update every 5 weeks, Snap Pocket every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
