# DMLS vs Tutor Lily

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tutor Lily at 46% against DMLS's 0%. Tutor Lily also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (242 vs 5). DMLS's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DMLS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Tutor Lily sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DMLS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tutor Lily has 242 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of DMLS's written reviews are positive against 46% of Tutor Lily's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DMLS ships an update weekly, Tutor Lily fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
