# VBOX vs Super VPN

The clearest difference is ads: Super VPN at none against VBOX's shown. Super VPN also leads on ratings volume (118 vs 3). VBOX's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VBOX sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Super VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VBOX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super VPN has 118 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of VBOX's written reviews are positive against 94% of Super VPN's.

VBOX ships an update every 3 days, Super VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
