# VBOX vs Shortcut Archive

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VBOX at 100% against Shortcut Archive's 36%. VBOX also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.6) and update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Shortcut Archive's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (23 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VBOX sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Shortcut Archive sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VBOX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shortcut Archive has 23 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of VBOX's written reviews are positive against 36% of Shortcut Archive's.

VBOX ships an update every 3 days, Shortcut Archive monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
