# Superintelligence vs DarknessAI

The clearest difference is rating: Superintelligence at 4.2 against DarknessAI's 3.6. Superintelligence also leads on ratings volume (758 vs 5). DarknessAI's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 51%) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superintelligence sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and DarknessAI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Superintelligence holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Superintelligence has 758 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Superintelligence's written reviews are positive against 60% of DarknessAI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Superintelligence ships an update every 5 days, DarknessAI weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
