# Timberlog vs LogM3

The clearest difference is update cadence: LogM3 at every 3 days against Timberlog's weekly. LogM3 also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timberlog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LogM3 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timberlog ships an update weekly, LogM3 every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
