# VPN Fox vs PremierVPN

The clearest difference is rating: PremierVPN at 5.0 against VPN Fox's 4.4. VPN Fox's advantage is review sentiment (95% vs 78%) and ratings volume (18 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Fox sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and PremierVPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PremierVPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Fox has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of VPN Fox's written reviews are positive against 78% of PremierVPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Fox ships an update monthly, PremierVPN every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
