# Unit vs Kitchen

The clearest difference is rating: Kitchen at 5.0 against Unit's 4.4. Kitchen also leads on iOS requirement (13.7 vs 16.1). Unit's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Kitchen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kitchen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 9 respectively.
