# The Grand vs Distro

The clearest difference is ads: The Grand at none against Distro's shown. The Grand also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
