# Pomocat vs Focus Kitty

The clearest difference is ads: Focus Kitty at none against Pomocat's shown. Pomocat's advantage is ratings volume (532 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomocat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Focus Kitty sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Pomocat against 5.0 for Focus Kitty. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomocat has 532 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
