# Pomocat vs FocusPal

The clearest difference is ads: FocusPal at none against Pomocat's shown. FocusPal also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Pomocat's advantage is ratings volume (535 vs 4) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomocat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and FocusPal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Pomocat against 5.0 for FocusPal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomocat has 535 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
