# Pomocat vs Sit Still

The clearest difference is ads: Sit Still at none against Pomocat's shown. Sit Still also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). Pomocat's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (482 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomocat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Sit Still sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pomocat holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomocat has 482 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Pomocat's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sit Still's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pomocat ships an update every 3 weeks, Sit Still every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
