# Fly Vaunt vs Expys

The clearest difference is rating: Expys at 5.0 against Fly Vaunt's 3.1. Expys also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Fly Vaunt's advantage is ratings volume (210 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Expys holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fly Vaunt has 210 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fly Vaunt ships an update fortnightly, Expys every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
