# Quiche Browser vs Cleft

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quiche Browser at every 5 days against Cleft's monthly. Quiche Browser also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (95% vs 80%). Cleft's advantage is device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quiche Browser sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Cleft sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quiche Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quiche Browser has 841 ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of Quiche Browser's written reviews are positive against 80% of Cleft's.

Quiche Browser ships an update every 5 days, Cleft monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
