# Weeknd vs Essential Reef

The clearest difference is update cadence: Essential Reef at every 2 days against Weeknd's monthly. Essential Reef also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Weeknd's advantage is ratings volume (65 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
