# Finger vs Splamiibo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Splamiibo at 100% against Finger's 50%. Splamiibo also leads on price (Free vs $0.39) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). Finger's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Splamiibo is free to download; Finger costs $0.39 up front. Splamiibo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Finger asks for nothing beyond the download.

Finger holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splamiibo has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Finger's written reviews are positive against 100% of Splamiibo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Finger ships an update every 7 months, Splamiibo every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
