# Blink vs aaAAa

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: aaAAa at none against Blink's 7. aaAAa also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (90% vs 55%). Blink's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 4) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blink sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. aaAAa asks for nothing beyond the download.

Blink holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blink has 18K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Blink's written reviews are positive against 90% of aaAAa's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blink ships an update every 9 days, aaAAa monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
