# SimpleDiceWidget vs Koitomo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Koitomo at every 3 weeks against SimpleDiceWidget's every 38 months. Koitomo also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimpleDiceWidget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Koitomo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SimpleDiceWidget ships an update every 38 months, Koitomo every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
