# Coffee Note vs CHALOG

The clearest difference is ads: CHALOG at none against Coffee Note's shown. Coffee Note's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coffee Note sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and CHALOG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coffee Note ships an update every 3 weeks, CHALOG every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
