# Treasure Party vs Backpacker™ Go!

Treasure Party and Backpacker™ Go! both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 84% of Backpacker™ Go!'s written reviews are positive against 64% of Treasure Party's. Treasure Party's advantage is ratings volume (21K vs 649) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Treasure Party sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Backpacker™ Go! sells 31 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Treasure Party against 4.8 for Backpacker™ Go!. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Treasure Party has 21K ratings behind it against 649, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Treasure Party's written reviews are positive against 84% of Backpacker™ Go!'s.

Treasure Party ships an update every 11 days, Backpacker™ Go! weekly. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
