# HPU+ vs MentorPRO

The clearest difference is rating: HPU+ at 4.9 against MentorPRO's 4.0. HPU+ also leads on ratings volume (171 vs 16) and device support (4 vs 2). MentorPRO's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HPU+ holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HPU+ has 171 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of HPU+'s written reviews are positive against 92% of MentorPRO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HPU+ ships an update every 2 months, MentorPRO every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
