# noteE vs Noting Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: noteE at free against Noting Pro's free with in-app purchases. noteE also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 60%). Noting Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. noteE sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Noting Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for noteE against 4.2 for Noting Pro. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 9 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of noteE's written reviews are positive against 60% of Noting Pro's.

noteE ships an update every 9 days, Noting Pro every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on August 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
