# noteE vs ScreenBreak

The clearest difference is rating: ScreenBreak at 4.9 against noteE's 4.3. noteE's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (78% vs 50%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. noteE sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and ScreenBreak sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScreenBreak holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of noteE's written reviews are positive against 50% of ScreenBreak's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

noteE ships an update every 9 days, ScreenBreak every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
