# noteE vs Nextpod

The clearest difference is rating: Nextpod at 5.0 against noteE's 4.3. Nextpod also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). noteE's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. noteE sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Nextpod sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nextpod holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: noteE has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of noteE's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nextpod's.

noteE ships an update every 9 days, Nextpod every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
