# Pic Answer vs Homework Helper

The clearest difference is ads: Pic Answer at none against Homework Helper's shown. Pic Answer also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 119). Homework Helper's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 56%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pic Answer sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Homework Helper sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pic Answer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pic Answer has 3.4K ratings behind it against 119, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Pic Answer's written reviews are positive against 83% of Homework Helper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pic Answer ships an update fortnightly, Homework Helper every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
