# Pic Answer vs SnackQuizzer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SnackQuizzer at 100% against Pic Answer's 56%. SnackQuizzer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Pic Answer's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pic Answer sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and SnackQuizzer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SnackQuizzer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pic Answer has 3.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 56% of Pic Answer's written reviews are positive against 100% of SnackQuizzer's.

Pic Answer ships an update fortnightly, SnackQuizzer every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 16, 2026 respectively.
