# AI Chat vs Mati

The clearest difference is rating: Mati at 5.0 against AI Chat's 4.3. AI Chat's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (46 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Chat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Mati sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mati holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Chat has 46 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AI Chat ships an update every 6 days, Mati every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
