# Alfry AI vs Countdown

The clearest difference is ads: Alfry AI at none against Countdown's shown. Alfry AI also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alfry AI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Countdown sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alfry AI holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alfry AI has 589 ratings behind it against 103, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 61% and 62% positive.

Alfry AI ships an update every 4 days, Countdown every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
