# KanCN vs Yiku

The clearest difference is rating: KanCN at 4.6 against Yiku's 3.0. KanCN also leads on ratings volume (314 vs 4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KanCN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Yiku sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KanCN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KanCN has 314 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of KanCN's written reviews are positive against 48% of Yiku's.

KanCN ships an update every 5 days, Yiku fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
