# EZ vs DIY Hero

The clearest difference is ads: EZ at none against DIY Hero's shown. DIY Hero's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EZ ships an update every 9 months, DIY Hero fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
