# The Sophia Code vs MODE THE METHOD

The clearest difference is monetization model: The Sophia Code at freemium against MODE THE METHOD's subscription. The Sophia Code also leads on ratings volume (266 vs 10). MODE THE METHOD's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Sophia Code sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $22.00 per month and MODE THE METHOD sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $50.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for The Sophia Code against 5.0 for MODE THE METHOD. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Sophia Code has 266 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

The Sophia Code ships an update every 2 months, MODE THE METHOD every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
