# MacroTracker vs MacroFlow

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MacroTracker at 554 against MacroFlow's 29. MacroFlow's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MacroTracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and MacroFlow sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MacroFlow holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MacroTracker has 554 ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of MacroTracker's written reviews are positive against 70% of MacroFlow's.

MacroTracker ships an update every 3 weeks, MacroFlow every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
