# Vicode vs V2Ray VPN Service

The clearest difference is update cadence: V2Ray VPN Service at every 2 days against Vicode's every 3 weeks. V2Ray VPN Service also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vicode sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and V2Ray VPN Service sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vicode ships an update every 3 weeks, V2Ray VPN Service every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
