# Campflare vs Route

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Campflare at 3.9K against Route's 4. Route's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Campflare against 5.0 for Route. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Campflare has 3.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Campflare ships an update every 5 weeks, Route every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
