# The Magic Scent vs Aroma Core

The clearest difference is rating: Aroma Core at 1.4 against The Magic Scent's 1.2. The Magic Scent's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 5) and review sentiment (8% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aroma Core holds the better App Store score, 1.4 against 1.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Magic Scent has 27 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of The Magic Scent's written reviews are positive against 0% of Aroma Core's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
