# Vulking vs Control

The clearest difference is rating: Control at 4.5 against Vulking's 3.7. Control also leads on ratings volume (38 vs 3). Vulking's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vulking sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $69.99 per year and Control sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Control holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Control has 38 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vulking ships an update every 3 weeks, Control every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
