# Capacities vs SoloScribe

The clearest difference is rating: SoloScribe at 5.0 against Capacities's 4.3. Capacities's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (116 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capacities sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month and SoloScribe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
