# ShadeAuto vs Bromic Smart

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ShadeAuto at 35% against Bromic Smart's 8%. Bromic Smart's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.7). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bromic Smart holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of ShadeAuto's written reviews are positive against 8% of Bromic Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ShadeAuto ships an update every 2 months, Bromic Smart every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
