# Functional Groups vs Brainy Check

The clearest difference is update cadence: Brainy Check at every 2 weeks against Functional Groups's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Functional Groups sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Brainy Check sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Functional Groups ships an update every 4 months, Brainy Check every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
